Sure you didn't hook it up wrong? You might actually fry a mobo by putting a switch on a LED connector.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Did you make sure you have power to the mobo?

Meaning, complete power from the PSU.

Is the cable oriented right?

Is positive in positive, and negative in negative?

Is white negative and the other color positive? Cause none of this is labled and i actually thought of that.
The PSU and mobo still work but for some reason it will turn on then turn off. This happens when we flick the power supply on/off button on and off.

I want to say yes, but try looking on the black attachment where you connect the cable to the motherboard. The positive side should have an arrow or marking on it.

we solved one of the problems but now it will randomly turn on and off. I think somethings loose but i've checked everything. Any special area's?

Is it possible its the case?
