Why do you play BF2 ?

Personnaly, i discovered this game at my friend's house and i just like it! So i've buy a new video card( ATI 9550) and 1Gb of RAM to play BF2 on my computer. So i got a 2.3 GHz, 1Gb ram, 256Mb video and i still can't run BF2 to a normal level. I put it on low, but i still lag a little (my connection is good) I stop complaining now....

Personaly i play because its an addictive game but also because i feel so great when i got a nice head shot, or when you got a killing spree. This make me play each day, i can't get enough of it.

To own noob like you , to get stats, to get point and to be promoted ... and I got a question .... i got a pretty good pc .... 2.4Ghz dual core , 1GB of ram (going for 2 soon), NVIDIA 6200 TurboCache and i play perfectly BF2 but on LOW details ... if i put it to MEDIUM or HIGH details i get lots of lag .... do you think the video card is the problem or i need more ram ... ???

Well im not a pro in theses kind of things,but i know that the dual core technology is not used at it's real potencial for games... This is still new and they haven't yet done improvements to get a real performence from it. Your video card is not a really high quality card, is speed is slow and maybe that the problem. At low, the anti-aliasing is OFF so no probs... but at MED or HIGH, its ON so that is probably the problem. I hope i've help you, that all i can say.

I play basically because its adictive. The game annoys me almost as many times as I have fun with it, but its really addictive and i dont' know why, maybe its because I just keep wanting that promotion, to see how far I can get, I don't know. But when i have fun with the game I just like rapeing people. So long as my team isn't a bunch of retards.

me? 3.0 intel dual core, gig ram, 256 X600, 19" DVI - I run everything on medium, full distance viewable.

I like the team play. I like to be on TS while playing the game with freinds and work as a team. I also like the stats and awards. That is a valuable feature in a game like BF2. Ever since BF1942 came out back in the day I always wished EA would add that feature, now that have. The only thing I do not like is that it will take you the rest of your life to actually complete everything.

Um your video card sucks. Definetly upgrade that. Almost anything is better.
