Ok, my cursor keeps moving upwards on its own. It isn't always happening, but once it starts it doesn't usually stop, unless I restart my computer.
Even if I unplug my mouse I still get the problem, So it hasn't got anything to do with my mouse (which is a G5). It started randomly while i was playing TF2, and it ended once I closed TF2 (I just assumed it was some glitch), a couple of hours later though I launched WoW and as soon as it started to open my cursor started moving up, this time it didn't stop until I restarted my PC. Also even after restarting it often starts again in a few minutes.

Also I just noticed, that often when I start programs or I am loading something it does it a bit.

Tried lifting your mouse up until it doesn't read anymore and then putting it back down? Works for my MX518, dunno about the laser G5, though.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Yeah, also I dont think it has anything to do with the mouse, as I have unplugged it and the cursor kept moving upwards without my mouse being plugged in.

Also just as i was typing this Trackmania was installing and it started moving around, so I am pretty sure it has something to do with how much my computer is loading or whatever.

EDIT: No, i don't, just a mouse connected, no Joysticks/gamepads either.
