Hi guys -

Interesting issue here.  BF2S can't display my stats because it says I have less than 100 pts, but that's incorrect.  This scared the crap out of me actually, because I had my account reset recently by the good folks at EA because I spent a total of like 7 seconds on a ranked server that had been compromised.  They researched this and saw that it was indeed the case and I was not part of the cheating, and subsequently restored my rank and points, but unfortunately they can't restore medals, ribbons, etc.  Sucks, but that's life and I was at least glad to see that they're still actively busting cheaters.  Small price to pay, really.

So anyway, I first realized that my account had been reset when a friend of mine told me that my stats were no longer showing up on BF2S.  Shortly thereafter, I got the email from EA explaining the situation.  That all happened about a month ago, and last night the same friend told me again that my stats seemed to be gone.  However this time I went to EA's stat site and they were there... went in-game and they were there... and went to BF2Player and they were there... and no email from EA indicating a problelm.

My PID is 45582318 if you could please check out what's up.  My stats look a little crazy now since I have 3 year old account with 140K-ish points on an account that was "created" on March 28, 2008 - the day that EA restored my rank and score.

I think we are having a problem with the stats ... seems to happen whenever we change servers.

Seeing the issues with the account servers going on last night and this AM, I'm beginning to think that you guys are running fine... EA's the one with the serious problem.  I log into BF2 (after about 10 tries) this morning and BFHQ shows me with 1.2M points, and the rest of my stats are just random numbers.

Hopefully we won't be down a month like we were last time they had account server issues.

Oh this is just stupid.

One of the "you hacker" triggers I have is a "Score Per Minute" over 1 point per second. Pretty clear indicator that an account was hacked.

However, when EA reset your stats, they didn't reset the TIME as well, which means it looks like you've played 7 hours, but earned 140,000 points. Far, FAR higher SPM than triggers my filter.

Essentially the data pool is getting horribly corrupted by the half resets that are occurring right now. To an extent, this current solution pretty much makes the "statistical" part of BF2 Stats pointless.



I'll try to think up a way to get around this -- in the mean time, please see if you can get more than just Rank and Score reset. I know I have better records...
