BFG 8800 GTS (G92) vs EVGA 8800 GTS (G92)

The BFG one is £162.73 whilst the EVGA one is £206.80.

They both have the same mem clock speeds (1940Mhz) whilst the BFG has a core clock of 675 Mhz compared to the EVGA's 650 Mhz, what warrants the £42 price difference between the two, taking into account that the BFG on paper has better clock speeds.

You could just as well go for EVGA and clock it yourself to 675, since EVGA doesn't void warranties on overclocking, and save 47 squid.

BFG, a lot cheaper price for the same exact card.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
