Originally, and a wee town which was also taken out. Ever seen the very first BF2 gameplay trailer where the hawk had rocket pods? That was the original Mash map idea before it was altered into what we know now but with airfields and stuff whcih they then took out.TheTrueQuaid wrote:

Yup...I had a huge thread on it, and wiki "Missing Content" guide...before the server crash. You can see the remains of their areas out of bounds on Mashtuur, and an unused lagoon - but it was on the original divided city.TheTrueQuaid wrote:

The lake, that is out of bounds...Divided City, before it got renamed to Mashtuur City, had a road that ran down here, instead of running to the Gas Station CP's. You can see it in the original videos with the F-15's if you look closely on the radar.

Great Wall was also a map that was meant to have helicopters on it before they changed that too I seem to remember. Damn, Mashtuur would have been cool with airfields.
I think there is 3 versions of Mashtuur City. First is this version with choppers and jets. Then comes the second version with river going trough the city:
