An idea. If u hit a guy's hand with an m95 bullet, he wont be able to aim well. Same for the leg, he will limp around after being hit.

When I snipe it IS one shot, one kill. Period. Any decent sniper should be able to hit the head the majority of the time. If not you just aren't a good sniper.

Now that I've g otten better at sniping, almost every shot is one shot one kill.
i think if you get shot with an SVD 2 times you should almost be dead. M24, one shot in ur chest you should almost be dead. M95 and L96, one shot, one kill.
I always thought it would be a good idea to make anything but a head shot with a sniper rifle would deplete your sprint ability. That way, if you hit someone running, then they can't just sprint away. The whole "shoot in the leg and they limp" thing would be cool if it lasted for 10 seconds, IMO.
If you are good enough, the sniper rifles already are a one shot one kill.

Well I played as a sniper in the last months (actually I did not play any other kits), and practised a lot.
Im still not good enough at it, though i think im makeing progress (cant really calculate bullet drop well, and I cant headshot a non-stationary target) and in my opinion one-shot-kill sniper rifles would kill the joy of being a sniper.It would be too easy, not to mention that the game would be more than unbalanced...

Personally, I like it the way it is. 2 shots if your aim sucks, 1 shot if you're good.
Though, the heart should be an instant kill too. I'd say put a instakill target in the heart area. ( a bit larger than the heart, of course. If you were shot in the aorta or cardio-pulmo-artery - I don't really think you'd have a chance in hell of living )

Heres a good way i found out to kill them in 1 hit w/o hitting in head, it takes patience though so if youre impatient dont listen, aim at enemy until name comes up and aim for chest, should 1 hit kill
I was thinking it should be that way at first. I mean come on a .50 cal shot to the chest SHOULD kill.
But yeah, it would ruin the game. I'd say no, dont change it.
