Sharpen a Titanium knife?
my dad says that a regular, steel sharpener wouldnt work

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. What does that mean?Titanium is a "gummy" metal as compared to steel. A file will remove small hard chips from a piece of steel, but will be more likely to get "gummed up" by Titanium (in this regard it's similar to Aluminum).
I wouldn't expect Titanium to hold an edge very well at all.
