I've converted back to Scout as there really is no point going around covering for the other twats healing each other seeing as I'm going to get flamed at, whereas these 'medics' are just charging in with their Blutsaugher.

Same here, I have double the time as a doc as my 2nd most played class.

Medic was my most played class before the update as well. Still is in fact, but i've had to take a break from his due to the number of them.

However I did join a server before where there were none on my team at all.

A good player can go combat medic. I can dominate servers while going combat medic, the needles do a good amount of damage if you can get them all/most to hit, which is easy as most TF2 players are idiots who run in straight lines, also being able to regenerate health is great, the ammo is kind of a problem though, but never really bothers me as finding ammo is easy.

even going combat medic in TF2 isn't that hard, just like most other classes in the game you just hold down fire and spam.
