BF2S Forums Should I buy TF2?

Do it because TF2 is the most super duper wuper most awsm-est type of cartooney shooter invented plus it was created by Valve which means you should trust it and there are nine classes each are unique and pretty fucking leet get this game or I will rip out your scrotum and eat it how does this make you feel

It's the best game from 2007 IMO.

Definitely definitely definitely worth the measely $20 they're charging for it. It's a lot of fun.

Just don't be expecting a standard fps..

Ok. Heres the lowdown on TF2.

It takes a while getting used to. It's sort of like Bf2 where you can't get good at the game all-round straight away. Theres so much diversity, so many things going on that practice makes perfect. But the best thing about the game is that everything has a counter. Sentries have demos to deal with, large rushes have pyros against them. Campers have spys etc. There is a great deal of balance in the game. This is all accompanied by fun, adrenaline filled game play with the cartoony graphics that make you smile. Theres unlocks that require you to do various different things (unlike in bf2, which just involves scoring points), a wide range of maps to play. There seems to be a constant flow of updates and fixes for the game, and Valve keeps managing to give me more and more reasons to keep playing.

Buy it. It's cheap as fuck too.

No. Valve really fucked things for us more skilled players, I'm thinking about quitting TF2 again is the nerfs go too far the next time. If you had asked me before February 28th then i would have said yes.

Well for one they fucked up Spies backstab hit detection, making it nearly impossible to land backstabs even on idle targets. Then they lied that they took away face stabbing when there are many people with videos to the contrary.

EDIT: Also they fucked up the disguise kit. Instead of being able to disguise as friendly pyro, hitting 'b' and now you look like an enemy pyro. It was great for saving time and really fucking with people's heads.

I get backstabs all the time, and what kind of an idiot would disguise as a friendly, doesn't that beat the point of the disguise?

Yes. Search bf2s, you find many reasons (and not the tough chocolate kind)
