Around 10:50pm, I was chilling in my room, playing San Andres. Yes, I know, there is a new one out, but I don't have 400$ to spend on a PS3, but that is besides the point. Anyway, I was just playing that, and I hear a car squealing it's tires behind my house. We have a north bound side of a street behind our house, and on the other side of that is a freeway. The street is a mile long between intersections, with no stop lights, stop signs, or any streets, which means Friday night become drag racing night. Well, someone finally wrecked their ride.
So, I hear those tires squealing, then I hear a nice big boom. I ran out of my room, woke my mom up and told her what was up. We went out there, and we see someones headlights lighting up the freeway wall. After a few seconds it drove off, fast as hell, sounded like a muscle car, not sure what though. I lean over the wall, there is a really small fire. About 2 minutes later, that little fire got really big. I called 911 to send a firetruck out, then ran inside to get my camera, but I didn't have any batteries, dammit. So, my dad took a few pics with his phone, but there weren't great, maybe I might still post them if he will load it on the computer. It was pretty awesome though, the fire blew three tires, melted the keys in the ignition and the frame of the seats. From what we heard, it sounded like someone was down at the mall, someone stole their car, went for a joyride, and had an "uh-oh" moment. A couple hours later, when the tow truck went by, we got to see what it was. Not really sure what year it was, being so messed up, but it looked like a 60's model Mustang.
I got to see something I always wanted to see, a car in flames. The irony of it is, when I was playing San Andres, I had just flipped my car, and it burst into flames. So, all in all, a pretty interesting night.
