Text Recognition software?

I've just made scans of 10 pages of text I need, so now it's currently in bitmap format, but is there any software I can use that will convert the scanned text into actual text?

I'm sure I've done this before a while ago, but I can't remember what program I used or how I did it.

actually that looks like source, this might be more viable: http://www.brothersoft.com/freeocr-59672.html. I'll admit it, I'm just searching. I've always used what was provided with whatever scanner I bought.

Thanks, FreeOCR is working great, with one or two small errors, but I can fix them.
