Well, yeah... I'm all for amnesty for illegals that are willing to enlist. We basically did the same thing back in the Civil War days, but this time, the immigrants are actually informed of what they are getting into.

We should shorten the time it takes to gain citizenship through enlistment. 4 months seems like a reasonable waiting period, as long as they are taught decent English in that time.

Basically, the Mexican government abuses the hell out of illegal Guatemalans and then deports them. A lot of times, they don't come back for fear of more abuse.

Granted, I was also being sarcastic, but I love pointing this out because it shows how hypocritical these Mexican illegals are when they demand more "rights."

We are much more tolerant of them than their own government is with their illegals.
