Okay, the title says it all, I can't watch any videos on youtube and i can't stream music or anything. This all started when my brother installed the beta version of firefox. It says that i don't have java script enabled or i don't have flashplayer installed. In reality i have java script enabled and flashplayer installed. i could use some insight on this because games get boring without good music.
Install flash player again.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Try that, you might not have it installed with the beta firefox.
EDIT: Freezer beat me too it. There's the link.

naw, i already did reinstall flash. i uninstalled the beta, reinstalled 2.0.0.14, reinstalled flashplayer and still no luck.
I've got that problem, with videos on youtube, seymore - it was definately working a little while ago and I haven't installed/changed anything.
Oh, and I'm on Firefox 2.0.0.14, but IE 6 has the same problem so I don't think it's firefox.
I also reinstalled flash and found it didn't help.

Well you should try it on another browser. That will tell you if the problem lies in FF or your OS/drivers.

I'm having what appears to be the exact same problem as the OP.
And, as I have already stated, for me, youtube videos do not work in BOTH IE AND FIREFOX.
(though embedded ones do for some reason)
I dont understand.. Cant you just TAKE OFF FIREFOX AND INSTALL IT AGAIN AND SEE IF IT WORKS?Scorpion0x17 wrote:

seymore:
I've found a solution that works for me - turning off AdBlocking in Norton.
See here for more suggestions, if that doesn't work for you.
Edit: and have now set up a rule so that I've got youtube videos and AdBlocking! (if you've got Norton and you want to keep AdBlocking on, let me know and I'll produce some screenies showing what to do).
