- Man forced to sit in the shitter on Jet Blue flight
New York City man is suing JetBlue Airways Corp. for more than $2 million because he says a pilot made him give up his seat to a flight attendant and sit on the toilet for more than three hours on a flight from California.
"The most expensive dump ever taken has just been found."
The reason he couldn't sit where the flight attendant was, is because only employee's can sit there. If that's the case then the flight attendant who felt uncomfortable in her specially assigned seat should have been given the toilet to sit on, then lets see if she thought that was an improvement.

He should've run out of the bathroom and started screaming in Arabic.
I would have just taken a book in there, would have been fine then.
I don't think theres any way the company can really explain this or avoid paying compensation at all, I think two millions a hell of alot too much and that he should just recieve say $10,000 at most but if he wants to push it then os be it.
I have the feeling that the pilot and flight attendant will soon be needing new jobs though.

Just cos the Flight Attendant is uncomfortable in their designated staff seats near the cockpit or w/e, doesn't mean you move a paying passenger out of their seat. What is this shit, how did the passenger even let that happen?
He probably let it happen so he could sue lol.Mek-Stizzle wrote:

$2 million for a 3 hr flight? noob. Just refund him and give him a first class round trip anywhere in the world and he'll shut up.
Mutlu was traveling on a a "buddy pass," a standby travel voucher that JetBlue employees give to friends, from New York to San Diego on Feb. 16, and returned to New York on Feb. 23, the lawsuit said.
Didn't pay a dime supposedly

Doesn't matter. Once he was granted a seat on the flight, they can't take the seat away and then expect him to ride in the crapper for 3 hours. What they did was not only wrong, but illegal.MECtallica wrote:

I'm just impressed no one else on the plane had to use the bathroom for 3 hours.
Personally, I'd be pissed if I'd been waiting in line for the crapper since Reno and I could see Nashville outside.

2 mil for 3 hours on a toilet.
What a fucking joke. I'd ask for a refund of my ticket, that's it. People are so retarded

"Sometime later, a male flight attendant knocked on the restroom door and told Mutlu he could return to his original seat, court papers say."
I hope he does get at least 2 million for the pilot putting that man's life at risk. Remind me never to fly with that airline.

Putting his life at risk? Really? Yeah it was a stupid job move by the pilot, and he should be reprimanded, but this jerk off does not deserve anything near 2 million dollars.Obiwan wrote:

It only takes a little turbulence for this guy to slip off the toilet and bump his head on the sink, possibly causing a concussion. And about your 2 million rant, people will cease any opportunity given to them to make some easy money, no matter how minuscule and small the incident is.CommieChipmunk wrote:
