Because running with Edwards as a VP totally worked in the pastIRONCHEF wrote:
But in general, who the hell is Richardson to the average voter? He bombed in the early campaigning from what I saw. I didn't mind him too much but I don't think his name or appeal as you put it would be as valuable a ticket (and FA win) as Clinton or Edwards. THose two have large pull in places OBama doesn't have..or so I've seen.
Anyway, I'm just glad Obama will be beating McCain rather than her. I can actually vote now!

Change as in you'll see two totally empty suits running the country more into the ground. . . . . . No thanks!TheAussieReaper wrote:
Bring back Al Gore, as VP to Obama.
I guarantee you'll see change.
You'd have to change the Constitution first. Al Gore can't be VP anymore. The same part of our Constitution that prohibits being president for more than 2 terms also prohibits being VP for more than 2. In addition to this, Bill Clinton couldn't be VP either, because anyone who runs for VP must also be eligible to be president in the event of a resignation, natural death, or assassination of the sitting president.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Nothing will happen big enough to delay or derail our elections.doug1988 wrote:
Neither Barack or McCain will win , I bet there will be no election this fall. something BIG will happened from now and later this year.
He wasn't on the ticket in MI because he removed his name from the ballot due to MI and FL being cut out of the primaries by the DNC. I think that's a positive, but MI voters may misdirect their anger at him instead of the DNC.Kmarion wrote:
Obama wasn't even on the ticket in the MI primary.. How messed up is that?.. He just shows up in the general..lol
Unlucky, he's already lost.d4rkst4r wrote:

As for Obama's running mate...I'd much rather see Richardson, then Edwards. Clark is a douche, Hillary is evil.
