I was wondering whether or not a peace-symbol is indeed a graphic on the USMC Support Class character - anybody confirm this? Maybe I am seeing it incorrectly.
it is
Thats what it looks like to me...
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
Peace sign? I doubt it. If you're referring to the dropped suport packs, well that's meant to be a gun on a tripod. Maybe it's the same symbol that you're mistaking for a peace sign, I can sort of see how they are similar.

Yeah, I was thinking about the bi-pod thing, but eh...it's cool to have some feedback. Thanks.
Tyferra, 'e is talkin' about the support kits backpack...

Yeah - the backpack. If it is...why would they put it in a game like this? Some sort of protest against violence using a violent game as the medium? I'll post a pic (through x-fire, too lazy...stupid to do it on the other uploading sites)

thank God that someone finally brought this up, lol. i noticed that the first day i got the game (i got it the day it was released). i think it's a peace sign. its kinda stupid. but i dont think its a bipod.
Go watch Full Metal Jacket youll understand.
It is a peace sign. Think of it as an homage to the Vietnam days when many of the soldier would put similar patches on their packs etc.
Yes, exactly. You'd know what it means if you've watched Full Metal JacketUgaminor wrote:

If it were patches that were put - why put something so ideological as a peace-symbol? (For the game) If anything, I'd rather it be customizable than to have it cemented as a peace-symbol. I've seen FMJ.
Now can anyone tell me why there is a chinese word for water on the PLA medic's backpack. Camel pack maybe?
Is it so wrong to put a little homage to an awesome movie into a war game?
I know that if tomorrow I were sent to the Middle-East to fight, I would sure as hell stick a peace symbol on my backpack
I haven't seen Full Metal Jacket, but I always looked at it as... They're fighting for peace.
Hm...even though - isn't it forcing a viewpoint onto us (I won't say where I stand on the issue; just a simple question). Shouldn't it be as apolitical as possible?
As all the others said, watch Full Metal jacket.
USMC Support guy: "Chinese, I come in peace don't fire!"
Chinese guy: "errr, whats that big gun for?"
*BAM*
USMC Support guy: "haha NOOB :-D"
