I know UK is a union but England and GB, whats the difference?

UK = England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (and probably some other random small tiny overseas islands)
Great Britain = That Big Island that consists of England, Wales and Scotland
England = One of the countries/states of the UK. Generally rules the rest of the UK.
British Isles = Great Britain + Irish Island (plus the other Islands around the area)
