More super delegates on the way for Obama. Thats all.

So many other reasons to dislike Edwards, but I guess the simpleton reason not to like him is because he pays a lot of money to get his hair cut.

I don't get how it is racist?  I remember Bush morphing into a monkey and back again on videos and pictures of him drawn as a monkey but these were not called racist.

Last I knew Obama was half white.  People just judge everyone by their skin color.  Wasn't Obama raised primarily by his single white mother?  If his skin was lighter would Blacks really give him as much support?

Fucking still hung up on skin color, maybe we are all a bunch of monkeys.

Edwards is popular with the "little guys" (even with the expensive haircuts..lol). Something Obama needs help with.

John Edwards fought a corporation that disembowled a little girl because they would not fix a $20.00 drain problem. So he is the money grubbing lawyer ? I don’t think so.

The fourth trial involved David and Sandy Lakey and their young daughter Valerie who was caught in a swimming pool filter, and it took three adults to pull her off of the filter, which disemboweled her in the process (the mother of the little boy playing with Valerie who helped pull her from the pool told Valerie’s mother in a quaking voice that, “I’m holding her intestines in my hands”).

As you can see from these excerpts from documented case histories, John Edwards has been advocating for and representing wronged individuals, primarily children and families, and those who could not obtain representation anywhere else for years. He has fought diligently for these people so they could live their lives to some degree despite the negligence that has victimized them. And in doing so, he has won some big awards and managed to take a bite or two out of the collective hide of corporate America.

And that is why he is hated. That is why the stories, the rumors, the innuendo have persisted and will persist for as long he walks this earth. That is why Smerky and his fellow travelers accused him and Elizabeth of being bad parents when he decided to continue his campaign despite the recurrence of her cancer. That is why Maureen Dowd and others resurrect this utterly juvenile “Breck Girl” name calling. That is why he is commonly referred to as a used car salesman by people who don’t know any better.

Edwards has definitely done some good things for the little guy, but doctors absolutely despise him.   I think the nature of Edwards' work makes him too much of a liability.

Richardson would be a better running mate because of his popular, moderate image.  He may not get the white vote, but he'll definitely get most of the Hispanic vote.  I also think he might serve to further moderate Obama's image.

The simple truth of the matter is that most of the people who chose not to vote for Obama in West Virginia's primary wouldn't vote for him regardless of who he has as a running mate.  The people who are prejudiced against Obama due to his race aren't likely to be swayed by a white male running mate.  They'll still vote for the old white guy.

Obama should base his running mate choice on obtaining support from other demographics, because he's already good at getting the support of open minded whites.  Richardson would help him get Hispanics -- a group that McCain has many connections to due to his constituency (Arizona) and his stance on amnesty.
