I might redownload portal as the first time i played, glados didn't talk for some reason.
in fact i finished the game without her even talking once, i didn't even know she existed and i was hella confused when i came to the final boss, not knowing what the hell it was

I've un-installed it, after I completed it twice I found there wasn't much to do afterwards
but it is one of the best games I've ever played (fun/entertainment wise, shame about the length)

Portal never really did it for me, it was really cool being able to make the portals and stuff, but the story line was kind of weak, and I got through it way too fast. It would be nice if they made a multiplayer game based on the portals.
Think about it, 2 people running about creating portals, what you gonna do, create a portal and drop the companion cube on their head to kill them?jamiet757 wrote:

there just isn't really anything you can do multiplayer-wise for a puzzle based game like portal.
They would have to switch the game to include guns so you could shoot each other, but then I don't really see it working very well
But there is the possibilities of a co-op story mode....

i just bought the orange box
Demo was a real let down for me, levels were incredibly easy, and really didnt show the game off much, heck it doesnt even allow you to spawn two different portals by yourself, always spawns the orange for you, doesnt even let you screw around much. Beat he demo in 15 mins, screwing around included. The half-life 2 demo froms years back i played multiple times because you could jsut mess around and do diffrent things, the portal demo however is lackluster and a wast eof time in my opinion.
That said, I do still want to get orange box, but alas the funding is not there for it.
