I used to have 4mbs but my parents were cheap and switched to free talk talk

A season of a TV series is more like 30GB. A 1h 720p episode is about 1.5GB. 1.5 x 20 episodes = 30GB.

downloading is completely legal here, only uploading is illegal. I don't think anyone has ever been sued though, and I study law with a focus on copyright/IP. AFAIK RS doesn't log what you dl so raiding RS won't help at all. Right now RS is pretty much the safest way to dl (well maybe usenet is better - that is up to debate). I don't see a danger in any country

Also if you're clever with uploading stuff you can easily get enough premium points for a free account

I used to get 2mb down at the best of times, but I've changed to a decent company and now get on average 9.5mb down. The ping is always teh suck but i think thats more of a fault with BT not my ISP. So going with a decent company does make a hell of a difference as far as speed goes.
