Yes you all have very narrow and intolerant views on this subject; but do you have to express it in such a dissmissive manner? I can't see a post without "fuck" or "fucks" in it - this, by the way, is called hyperbole, to emphasise my statement ( just getting rid of all the smartasses willing to argue my last point ).
I don't get it, we can't talk about religion because Zimmer has his own views on it? He closed the thread about the Christians complaining about the mural on the wall in a school.

So I guess he is just better than all of us huh? He doesn't have narrow views, what he believes is absolutely right, and anyone who disagrees with him is wrong, narrow-minded, and intolerant.

I for one and getting sick of Zimmer closing topics that have to do with religion just because he is religious, we should be able to talk about whatever we want. No one was getting hurt in that thread, everyone was just expressing their own opinions, which is perfectly fine.

It is perfectly possible to talk about religion with out swearing. I agree that  healthy & balanced debate is important, i see no point in closing threads that disagree with one persons view but you have to remember that both sides have to respect each others views as it is extremely unlikely that any ones views are going to be changed on these forums.

Religion is one of the biggest causes of arguments today so you have to try to keep a level head whatever side you are on always remember the adage never argue with an idiot onlookers won't know who is who.

we talk about religion all the time, its just that too often the debate sinks so low that all it comes down to is blatant insults and generalisation about all things people dont have a clue about. Thats the problem

I didn't see anything wrong with that topic. Guess some religious folks got their feelings hurt and complained (or vice versa for all I care).

This is the internet, a place where one can say whatever he/she wants to say, without anyone knowing what gender, race, creed, religion, or nationality they are. The internet will never be a perfect union to discuses issues without disobedience.

1 - First and foremost, do not make topics complaining about moderator actions. PM the mod in question or another mod, and we will discuss it privately if need be.

2 - That thread was hardly quality. It was full of people on both sides being seriously ignorant of the other and intensely and needlessly disrespectful to various users. There wasn't very much of importance being debated, especially not the OP itself.

3 - Starting a thread with a 4chan meme is a sure-fire way to have it run off a cliff.
