My brother has just moved into his room and now hes using a wireless connection, but it can be a little slow, so could anyone reccomend a wireless reciever that is great for gaming?

Hes about 5-10 meters away from the router im using, which is a Netgear router btw.

prices upto £100 or a little more.

To be honest, wireless, even with a fancy gaming router is still terrible in comparsion to a hardline connection.  If hes that close to the router, be cheaper and more useful to run a ethernet cable to his setup then to waste it on a fancy wireless router.

Sure, but 802.11n is amazingly stable. And it saves you the cables.

@OP; get a D-Link DIR-655.

I have a DIR-625. Never a dropped connection due to wireless. (Shitty bellsouth ftl.) Easy interface, great for setting up any kind of network.

EDIT: If money is no concern, get the DIR-655 as previously mentioned.
