Olbermann is occasionally funny, but he's way too theatrical for my tastes.
Anyway, what concerns me about Bush is that he often talks like he's unaware of the level of responsibility he has. It's like he's a kid in an adult's body while presiding over the world's most powerful country. Some people seem to find that endearing, but I find it utterly disturbing...
It's hard to know what really goes on in his mind, since he has been so damned incompetent at articulating himself.
That said, I definitely agree with that impression, or can see it too.
It's like he makes no secret of the fact that the presidency is not just a one man job, or maybe in particularly his case. He strikes me as a guy who isn't always hands on about the job like, where other presidents sat and deliberated, did the hard thinking and decision making..Bush has been more of a guy who says "I got people for this" and lets his cadre of advisors and cabinet officials "handle things"
Not quite the "Decider" he'd like to think he is.
Again, this isn't meant to be a statement of fact, just an impression I have gotten over the years, and I also agree it's a bit worrying, it's too, I dunno, cavalier
I have read some of Woodward's books on him and he seems to be more serious behind the scenes, so maybe it's more of a style thing
As for Olbermann, I detest the man. I'd rather watch that doofus O'really over him, FEOS has it right, Frothing.
