K, does anyone actually know anything about it, I've never really used it but have been given a copy by my boss and a copy of server 2003. VMware CD has VMware converter and VMware player. I'm not really too sure where to go from there , just thought it might be a bit of fun on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
VMware is a must for anyone running a x64 Windows OS, it allows you to run 16 bit applications (sadly, it doesn't have proper direct3d support).
Run VMware workstation, put a 32 bit OS install CD into your optical drive, set VMware to use the computers real optical drive as optical drive and install the operating system inside VMware.
Can't remember the details, there should be a walkthrough when you do it.
Being able to play Quake 1, Quake 2, Red Alert and more classic games on x64 is /win.

What if you don't have a 32 bit OS install CD? Can you not use VMware then?
I'm on Vista x64, but I have an XP x86 install CD... would that work?

x86 = 32 bit, yesSpIk3y wrote:
