He is a serbian immigrant, veteran of the Bosnian war..Sup wrote:
I still don't know whether Nico is Serbian or Russian. He speaks both languages and a friend told me there was a Serbian writing on a TV in game and Nico asks what does that mean and Roman tells him: "you forgot your own language or what?"
Thought so. Dunno why people cal them Russians. Not educated perhaps?Trigger_Happy_92 wrote:

Yes they are both Slavic. Slavic ethnicities are divided into 3 regions, West, East, and South. These areas cover mainly Eastern Europe and the Balkans (Russia, and Serbia, Bosnia, Albania, Montenegro, and so on)..Sup wrote:

No, it's the other way around: Roman asks Nico what it means..Sup wrote:

Bosnia and Serbia used to be part of Yugoslavia before it broke up into several countries. Those 2 countries are the resulting nations that formed along with Albania, Montenegro, and Croatia. I speak fluent Serbian, and I can also understand anyone from Bosnia, Montenegro, and so on, but Nico is Serbia.bennisboy wrote:
Well he fought is the serbain bosinan war (most proable, due to his age and stuff he says) So he is either Bosnian or serbian, but he speaks serbian, so I'm goin with that!
Yes i know the part" they are both Slavic" is correct. I'm asking why people say they are Russians if they are unsure? The game is confusing-Vladivostok radio station, Comrade bad, Vlad, etc. People might think he really is Russian.dan673 wrote:

Actually the game is politically correct as well in terms of Serbians disliking Albanians and vice versa, because Nico mentions it in the game, and its true to some extent in real life.
Its a nice jacket, i have it.Ryan wrote:
Why do those Russians all wear the same jacket? Nico, Victor, and the guy from 'Behind Enemy Lines' all look the same, and wear the same jacket.
