Ok guys, I'm in need of an good registrycleaner for vista x64. PCtools registry cleaner freezes at the deep scan en the inbuild registrycleaner of ccleaner doesn't clean all. I prefer freeware, but I can always "aquire" an license for the non-freeware programs.

There are a couple of cleaners that screw up your registry (can't recall their names at the moment) to the point where you can't get updates from Microsoft.  Might be a blessing in disguise though....at least for SP3...

I usually use Uniblue Registrybooster. Not freeware though, but at work we had a key for it ^^ Quite good one, detects loads of crap, makes backups.
Also a possibility to defragment your registry.

CCleaner has a registry cleaner in it, I think. Or it at least does something good in there..

Exactly how "dirty" do you think the Registry gets?

Dangerous, useless junk.

CCleaner is a great program, I don't see why you say it "doesn't clean all."  As Cheez said, I'm afraid to install anything beyond CCleaner because a lot of those programs can do more damage than help.  And most of them just take up space on your hard drive.  Stick with the light, easy to use CCleaner.
