whew, after all this talk, i think i'm going to go with that ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA mobo and wait for the 4850s to come out. what are the specs on the 4850s atm? any previews?
and is there anything bad about the RAMPAGE, or something special i should know?

Fair enough. I've just heard of quite a few people bricking mobos by trying other BIOS's on them. But if it works... Might want to make sure you get the BIOS version other people have tried and then don't update it. I'm quite sure ASUS will not be happy with this discovery, and will mod their next BIOS versions so that it'll brick it.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Erm the 50s arent really supposed to be that remarkable, the 70s with that GDDR5 is supposed to be great though, there would only be about a $50 difference between em anyway, not insane.haffeysucks wrote:

N the rampage I think is the flagship asus at the moment (intel desinged anyway) so its got anything and everything.
