shotguns werent designed to maim, neither were hand grenades.

now, this isnt my experience, but from what i have read, if you are within five meters of an M26 fragmentation grenade when it goes off....you stick your head in between your legs, and kiss your ass goodbye.


now, this IS personal experience.
my shotgun was NOT designed to maim people.
simple as.

pretty much.  Although grenades in the form of projectiles have a smaller kill radius.

I thought it was about 10 feet for a FRAG-12,.. not sure though.

5 meters=death
15 meters=hurt

You talking about the handgrenade now right? I was talking about the 12 gauge nades,.. in any case 10 feet seems a bit too enthousiastic for such a small nade. Probably not more than 5 feet,.. which is still quite a lot considered it's stuffed in a shotgun shell projectile. Considering that (combined with the ugly automatic shotgun) you can fire them fully automatic from a 20 round magazine with very little recoil,.. a kill radius of about 1.5 meters and a hurt radius of about 3 meters is friggin insane.
