my steam account is deleted, I hacked CS 1.6 almost 2-3 years ago and got my VAC ban on all HL1 engine games etc, but now after all that time, after owning HL2, CSS, DoDS, TF2, garrys mod etc, its first disabled then deleted, WHY? Never hacked again or exploited or harassed anyone, I used some achievement servers for TF2 but that was it, and it was only for milestone one .

anyway I can get it back?

oh yea It was lent by an E-friend a long time ago, we lost contact, I stole it, he tried stealing it back, I provided his information and I got it back XD, but shouldn't it technically mine if steam gave it to me?

I know it's deleted because retrieve lost account says the account name doesn't exist at all

Yea but deleting an account because I used an achievement server?

*EDIT apparently it wasn't deleted but said it didnt exist, I tried again and it said it sent a verification code etc hmm

same account name yes, but no I changed the password at least a billion times, and the gold engine ban wasn't very long past the time time I hacked, sorry if that seemed worded wrong, I also changed contact email and possible verification question, but the person got into the account probably through steam.

I also have 0 virii, keylogs, and never talk to anyone on steam friends, no one I know IRL even knows my account name or password

As a member of Steam forums for quite some time I can happily say this.

You ain't going to get unbanned for ANY reason because then everyone would use it.

Also Steam account don't get deleted, they get Banned or Disabled. Not Deleted. I don't know what your E-Firend have done with it but I bet he cheated on it.

VAC which is far better than PB, only bans for known cheats and if you use some modified dll files. So the thing you need to do is.

Registre a new account.
Get rid of any cheat on the PC
Re buy the games you want to play.

You can't move your old games either.

But 2-3 years of cheating? SERIOUSLY? That's like epic fail.

Only way valve ever disable accounts is either if your account has been used for phishing or piracy. You might want to look into the former.

They will also disable it if you have shared it but I don't think Valve are looking into that so much. Steam was made to work on computer with internet so you yourself could be moving around quite a bit and use it on a lot of computer. Not to talk about that they can't tell who uses it.

Well it all boils down to buy it again. Not enough money? Go mow some lawns then and stop cheating.

got it back, lol the person who originally owned some of the stuff on it wanted to use it with some friends I guess at a lan party or whatnot, so he changed the pass, but I asked politely and I got the pass back so we'll just share it like we were going to lol. I might get a few this accounts being used in another location but I dunno
