So I got excused from conscription because I had a bad case of pollen allergy...life is fucking sweet. I got full marks on all the tests but then they found out I had this lol.
The waiting is sooooo boring though..SOOOooo boring
you live in finland? I cant remember? But one of my good mates is from finland and he was conscripted, he said it was one of the best things he had ever done.
If you do you should of done it. Its not like your going to be at war any time soon, it gives you discipline and trains your body.
If England had conscription I would of done it without any fuss.

England doesn't station their best candidates up next to the Russian boarder It's cold and I would have been stationed up there most probably because I gained full marks on physicals and intelligence tests.
+ I'm already fit..don't see why I'd need to go.

Why would they have to worry about a pollen allergy when they'd send you to a place that's apeshit cold?..teddy..jimmy wrote:

dude, because its fucking norway. they're pussies (god i hope they don't read this)
Beats the hell outta me. The letter said that I wasn't feltdyktig which basically means that I couldn't serve on the front line. Basically they're finding excuses to let people go because the entire military has been downgraded.Tetrino wrote:

because herding you with a couple of sweaty guys somewhere in the snow is great fun, very useful and no waste of your time.Vilham wrote:

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
I wish Australia had conscription, I'd be all over that shit like a fat kid on a cupcake.
I'm joining anyway

Meh, everybody's panic of the military service is way over the top. Seems like everyone is desperately looking for ways to evade the whole thing.
Aside from the fact that it really is kind of a waste of time I don't see what's so bad about it. Sure, the first few weeks might be somewhat rough, but after that it's a fucking piece of cake. You get there on time in the morning, leave on time, get wasted with the other guys stationed there, all in all a pretty laid back time.
Plus it's the only (or at least easiest, only legal) way I was ever going to get to shoot a fully automatic rifle.
Plus I also had full marks on all the tests and therefor was made a medic. Reads: I got full scale EMT-training including valid certifications for free, which can be useful at times. For example, if I felt like it I, could get a job as ambulance driver without needing any additional tests or whatever. That's gotta amount to something.

Actually you dont do much work, you piss about and have fun, you learn responsibility, you learn how to be a good leader, you get very fit, you grow up, etc. Its a pretty good actually, from what ive learnt being in the finish and Norwegian army are good experiences because you have next to zero chance of actually going to war.max wrote:
