I just started playing again after a 3 month break. So far i unlocked Spec Ops,Sniper,and Engineer. Im wondering what i should choose for my next unlock which is soon ™
PKM ssems to be the buzz word , ive heard a lot about them since i came back. But, are they likely to be nerfed ?
I guess im thinkng Support or Medic,but havent seen or heard much about the L85 A1

Also, i read about free unlocks or something ? Todo with SF maybe ? I have SF, but the EA Downloader doesnt recognise XP64,and wont install across a network :X So cant get it running atm.

Any advice would be great thx

Hmmm, i only just got back, and i dont really work toward badges atm. Im happy if i dont get ganked too much atm

PKM does look evil, i get killed alot with it from insane distances

The new sniper rifle might be the best gun I have used in the game, I havent unlocked it yet but I have picked it up 3 times now and I cant belive how much better it is even with the bolt action. It will be a tuff call for me when my next unlock comes. whether support or sniper

Pick something for a kit you like, a lot of people pick a weapon because they've heard cool things about it, but then they use it and it's not at all how they play. The classic example of that is everyone who unlocked the M95 after reading "shoots through armoured glass"

The PKM is by far the best sniper rifle in the game. A sniper rifle with unlimited ammo
As I said before, I use it to take out snipers!!! That gun is way too overpowered, but fun...

I unlocked the M95 because it shot through glass, and love it

In my opinion, the badges are the things most worth working for in BF2, but that's just me. For guns, not counting kit action, the best are the DAO-12 (this also preps your for the P90 <3), or the G3. Due to the fact that the Assault is kinda a base kit, the G3 might be better than the DAO-12, 'specially with jump-shooting (I refuse to call it bunnyhopping ) removed.

Now, with that said, the MG36 is also quite fun. Moreso than the PKM, IMO

The L85A1 is fun. The sights take a lot of getting used to (I know it's not just the gun, because my best friend pops headshots with it ) AND, if you play a lot of Medic, that enables you a G36E when you get SF. Mmm, G36E...
