Snakes and Mowing the Lawn

Who persuaded me to get my lawn mowed today? I sincerely thank you

As i was mowing around the house i came across one of those slimy little creatures. I stop the mower and pick him up, didn't even try to run away the poor bastard. Anyway after making all the Metal Gear jokes I could think of I heard the neighbors playing baseball or some shit like that. I get a marvelous idea and proceed to climb into their yard and sneak up right behind the neighbor (Like snake would do ) and drop the snake right at his feet If I had a pic of his face i could have mad a million dollars easily, my god it was hilarious. He was screaming at the top of his lungs while all his friends were laughing their asses off including me.

My god good day, anyone have any snake or lawn mowing related stories?

Probably because it doesn't have legs.

When I used to do landscaping like 10 years ago, I nailed a snake with the mower. Snake bits everywhere. I didn't see it, it was hidden in the grass.

I almost stepped on a rattlesnake sunning himself on a wooded trail (hiking on the US Appalachian Trail) ... my foot missed him by about an inch. Realization. Adrenaline. Shriek. I ran as fast as a gazelle, screaming like a little girl.

Regained composure.

Later that night, I was eating him.

I just mowed over a snake last week when I mowed. It was sorta messy, and I think there are still snake pieces stuck to the side of my garage.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't do it intentionally, I love snakes. I have had hundreds of them for pets. Its just that for some reason my yard is infested with them, and when I mow, I always see them darting out everywhich way from under the tractor, and on this particular day, it was a bit chilly so he must not have moved fast enough.

No worry, plenty more where he came from.
