Right, so I've been building my brothers new PC for him and well, it wont post properly. (You can skip all the nub suggestions I do work in I.T. support )

Basically I'm just making sure I'm not missing something stupidly obvious as it's getting late now and I've only just got started on it.

It's turns on, fans start up, everything looks great, apart from the fact that nothing displays on the screen. The graphics card is fine, I'm using it in my rig now as I'm typing this (yes the power cable was connected too ), pulled everything non-essential out, reset the BIOS, replaced the RAM with my stuff and still nothing, so anyone seeing anything else I can try
?. I'm guessing I just got a fucked motherboard.

does that mobo support that CPU 'natively' or was support added in later?
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

As far as I am aware it has native support.

Try putting a P4 in the board and see if it boots - thats what happened to myAus P5k-Se - it didn't natively support my E8400 and wouldn't post. If it posts with the P4 then update the bios.

If I had one I might, I don't hoard outdated PC hardware lol, besides I know it has native Yorfield support.
