Is it qualifying already?
No. Practice was on Thursday instead of the usual Friday so further practice and qualifying are both on today. (I'm not sure if they will air practice) The (as far as I know) live coverage starts at the usual 1PM GMT.
My favourite GP and Hamilton likes it too. He had a fantastic practice yesterday, so fingers crossed for a result today and tomorrow
He wont win. He wont win the championship. He will cry like a baby.kptk92 wrote:

There, you already know.
Qualifying is now. ITV. Go watch it. Should be good (moreso than other tracks) without TCS.
Hopefully a Ferrari won't get pole

hami will win darn you!!!!
(lol side note, i just played Formula 1 for the N64, Damon Hill ftw lol)
Get F1:CE for the PS3. Best F1 game ever. Codemasters unfortunately recently acquired the F1 License and I guarantee they won't make an F1 game anywhere near as good as F1:CETehremos wrote:

There's probably better sims out there on the PC, and I've yet to try out the F1 car in GT5:P, but F1:CE is still the best F1 game out there atm. Too bad it's the 2006 season.

Ferrari one-two
Yeah, Massa pipped Raikonnen by like 0.008 of a second or someshit. It's all McLaren on the second row.

Monaco is a very tight track.Ayumiz wrote:

Drivers know what they're doing, rarely is an accident like that a driver error. Fair enough if he hit the wall right when he was coming in or out of a corner. But to hit it a fair while out of a corner whilst going sort of straight. It's not common. The car looks like it oversteered so it was either him getting excited with the throttle or it was the car. These guys are pr0 especially someone experienced like DC. It was most likely the car, he even said it himself more or less in the interview.kylef wrote:

I don't see Hamilton pulling off a 1st position unless Ferrari go tits up seeing as there is no room to move and overtake
Which is why Monaco is shit. I often hear these guys talking about how this is like the TRUE way of racing, and how it started. Bullshit, imo, a drivers race in Monaco is far to dictated by the pace of the guy infront, and like you say, the lack of overtaking oppertunities. Therefor the teams have to hope that the other use a piting regeme that benifits the (which am not a fan of either).kptk92 wrote:

With regards to Coulthard, I think it was probably at best a mix, if not really his fault. As was said on TV, the cars go light at the rear under heavy breaking, and with the absense of any traction management, being a bit too frisky with those controls can result in accidents. Technical malfunction may of played a part but I think it was more a driver error. If it wasnt Monaco, he may of recovered it/went off into a sand bank and hit a tyre wall.

Good job, Ferrari. Nice to see Heikki setting some great times too, though! Fastest in last practice by a long shot...
The track at Monaco is very bad on fresh tires, it is so easy to spin. Especially in tight corners. Oh, and here's a lol for you - Michael at Monaco doing his deliberate block:

Well lets watch the race in about a few hours time then.
