The man leads them to the Champions League final, gets them to 2nd place in the league but still loses his job while Arsenal's Wenger, who finished 3rd and without any trophies like Chelski, still has his job?? It's funny how things work in the world of football...

Idiots. He was actually doing quite well except for slipping up at the final stages. I bet the next guy won't even get as far. They should've at least given him a full season.

Grant was only really sacked because he doesn't play interesting football.

Think about it, your Abramovich and you've just made a massive investment into a football club, do you want them to play boring crap, or something more watchable like Manchester United does.

He did great for a manager, but wasn't interesting at all and didn't make the team play interesting football. Abramovich can't really fire the players, he's spent way to much money, so really all he can do is change the manager.

Have to laugh @ it. He was poor at first, but theyve been the quiet side this season, and when they were challenging for the title, it was like "where the fuck did they come from?". He did very well for his first season, trying to rally a team that were devoted to the "special one", which he did.

Ah well, billionaire strikes again. Wonder who he wants next in the firing line.

I thought Sven got a rough deal with Eng and City. He's a bit of a drip but deep down a nice guy I think. The media fucked Sven up just like they have with every English manager from what I remember except maybe Bobby Robson or Venebales. They build them up and shoot them back down.
