How are your files laid out?

Well, it's interesting how people set out their documents and files, etc.

Today I had a massive cleanup, simply because I couldn't work properly because I had to sift through thousands of folders to find what I was looking for. So I deleted like 80GB of shit and downloads and cleaned up everything.

This is what my documents look like :

Everything is in max 2 folder clicks away from that.

Then I have my second partition ( I have a 500GB Samsung SpinPoint, but I forgot to reformat it after screwing around with leopard )

This is where I keep my movies (always gets updated; keep the best movies, bin the others, 70GB so far ) and music, and where all my downloads get saved to.

So, I was wondering, what is your layout like? Not everyone can have the basic and everything thrown in...
Makes life that bit easier when you can access everything so easily.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I have a collection of stuff that I haven't had to time to organize. Quick synopsis:
Pictures of my girls
SS from games
Another hdd with music and videos
etc.

I probably should defrag some time soon though.

Oh boy, is this thread made for me or what?

OK, first up, you need to understand I have 3, yes, three, installs of XP - one for 'admin', one for 'games' one for 'work'.

Now, my data partitions are, roughly, like this:

[Data]
-Work My Documents (well organized subdirectories for different project documents, business docs, etc, etc).
-Games My Documents (pretty much bugger all except BF2 files in here).
-Personal My Documents (total organized chaos - needs a day spent house-keeping).

[Work]
-Actual work files (website/programming code) - Divided into different directories for different projects.

[Binaries]
-This is downloads of driver updates, game/app patches, etc, etc - kinda semi-organized - also needs, at least, a day houskeeping.

I could go into all the directories and subdirectories on each partition, but then this would end up one hell of a long post.
