I think that the next gen consoles (thats the ones coming after the ps3 and 360) will have integrated multiplayer with pc users. So using that logic, if you were to say that "Microsoft" Xbox will have exclusive games, they probably won't. Simply because Microsoft will make the games cross platform as they are a computer company.

Sony however are more likely to compete with a few of these games, but will almost certainly keep many games exclusive to consoles (I think that the pc users in multiplayer will have a huge advantage over the console players anyway). So the next console you should get after the PS3 or Xbox will be a PS4 anyway. Because you will still have a computer.

So even in the future the playstation will be better than an X-box.

On these forums specifically, there's way more people who bash the 360 than who bash the PS3. There's actually quite a few people here who bash the 360 here just because the PS3 has "superior hardware".

...So? That's not comparing the games to the actual console. That's comparing games to games. It's an aspect of the console, not comparing different aspects to different aspects.

A point was made that Mac owners are like PS3 owners, they think that their mac/ps3 is better than anything else. Villham explained that its exactly the same way with xbox, specifically with halo 3. 1) Halo's NOT just for Xbox. This isn't 2002, k? That pretty much nullifies everything right there.

2) It's really not possible, again, for Halo 3 owners to think that Halo is better than it's competitor, because it doesn't really have a competitor...plus, I very, VERY rarely see people saying that Halo 3 is/was the best game ever. Most modest Halo players think either CoD4 or GTAIV is the best game out there right now.

Not true. Just because they are exclusives for the 360 doesn't mean that they make the 360 what it is. Heck, I was playing Gears yesterday and it isn't very impressive anymore. Halo 3 is getting a bit tiring and I haven't played it in a bit. There are many more fantastic games for 360 owners to play (namely GTA IV, Burnout Paradise and people even play Forza 2, which is an exclusive )
