Since I'm using XP x64, there is no support for 16 bit applications. I have satisfied my retro-gaming needs so far with VMware. However, VMware doesn't have proper direct3d support, even the experimental thing isn't enough, making some games unable to play. Is there any emulator out there that does?

I'm only in need of 3d acceleration like an old Geforce 2 would do.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

A bit offtopic, but where can I find this experimental D3D?

Dual boot is too much of a hassle IMO, much easier to just use an emulator like vmware, then I don't have to quit my main OS whenever I wanted to do something in the other one.
