install problem

i need a bit of help along these lines
i have atm installed bf2, with the latest patch
just reinstalled sf, and i cannot join any server, so i reinstalled 1.03 and still cant play
tried to reinstall the new patch but says i cant i need ver 1.12
or do i need to download the 357mb file??

the patches i have atm bf2patch_v_103_to_12 81.5mb
bf2_patch_103 175mb

i can play anyserver on bf2 normal..

so planning on uninstall everything what order do i reinstall??

1. install battlefield 2
2. install sf
3. install latest patch from EA website (357)
4. while installing go and watch the ombinus episode of eastenders

would i install the 1.03 first?
and the 1.2
then the new 1.22 etc

Just install the big patch, alot of people are having probs installing them one at a time.

Uninstall everything, dl the "Big" patch and you will be all set.

I wouldn't bother with an incremental upgrade path. BF2>SF>1.2 patch.

The more patches you install the more likely for something to get FUBAR it seems. At least with the 1.2 patch you get some feedback as to what the hell is going on with a progress screen now!
