I think it would be cool if during the battle Godzilla rose from the sea trashed and removed a flag then waddled back to the sea.
Or maybe during a round Gozilla and King Kong are fighting each other the whole time, you would just have to avoid them throughout the round.
They could be destructable and killed, but shooting at them might get them angry and then they would start attacking you.
