Precisely.  I'd like to see the times with perfect conditions for the Vette.  An awd car should handle better than a rwd one, especially when it also has a computer controlled drivetrain and paddle shifting.  The Vette has V8 growl, 6 speed manual, and great suspension.  Give the Vette awd and paddle shifting and it'll spank the GT-R around the Ring, but giving the Vette awd would be sacrilege.  It's meant to be a mix of raw power and tech.  Props to the GT-R for what it is, but it needs twin turbos and launch control just to keep up with the Vette to 60mph, after that, the GT-R will be looking at the Vette's tail lights the whole way.   

GT-R:
60mph:    3.4
80mph:    5.7
100mph:  8.6
120mph: 12.7

Vette:
60mph:    3.4
80mph:    5.3
100mph:  8.0
120mph: 10.7

The GT-R is already 2 seconds behind and the Vette will keep going all the way up to 200mph.  Buh bye.
