And the mic seems really soft...to the point where if it isnt right next to my mouth I cant hear anything at all (via the windows "test" thing). I have read reviews saying it is fine on the front of your shirt, and it comes with a monitor mounting...so surely it should be louder.

I have all mic volume settings as far as I can see turned up to full, and mic boost on.

tl;dr...

I cant hear it unless it is pretty much in my mouth, although when it is it is crystal clear.

also, the headphones are fantastic.

Siberia's an American company isn't it?

Maybe you just need to talk louder.

(oh, also, TimmmmaaaaH - go into the windows volume control panel thingy (or the volume control 'mixer' software doodad for your sound card, if it has one) and make sure the mic 'volume' is turned right up and 'mic boost' is ON)

Ty though,  it is easily forgotten.

It is slightly better now for no apparent reason. I probably just have to get used to it.

Make sure in any games, vent, teamspeak etc you make your "INPUT" and "OUTPUT" your headset. Windows has a lovely time resetting this to default (Motherboard) all the time.
