Welcoming the long, hot dirty, and, did we mention hot, summer days, Zalman has updated its cooling product portfolio with a new CPU cooler. The CNPS9300 AT makes use of a design idea already seen on other Zalman coolers and that's the patented curved heatpipe design that uses two copper heatpipes.

Measuring 61.35 (L) x 108 (W) x 132.5 (H) mm and weighting 407 grams, the CNPS9300 AT heatsink has a 92mm fan at its center. The fan has a Superflo bearing and will work at speeds from 1,500 (± 15%) to 2,400 RPM (± 10%) and deliver a sound output between 20.0 and 30.0 dBA (± 10%). The new cooler is compatible with LGA 775, AMD 754, 939, 940, AM2 and AM2+ processors and can be found, at least on the Old Continent for about 42 Euro.

Every generation looks sexier. Will need to wait for benchmarks though, cos the cooler seems smaller than the previous versions of CNPS.

So it's a worse version of the CNPS9500...

What's the point?
