Detroit doesnt deserve winning a cup in a half-empty stadium.
Your an idiot the economy in Michigan is worse then the rest of the country so people can't afford the high cost of playoff tickets.
So why are the pistons and lions near-selling out constantly, and the arena was just as empty in the regular season?

Chris Osgood gets the shutout, and Mikael Samuelsson bags a pair of goals to put the Red Wings ahead 4-0 in a clear Detroit victory. Game 1 showed what a disciplined hockey team can do. That's what I was talking about.  It's certainly not over yet, but as one analyst said, "Pittsburgh was taught a lesson tonight about what it is to play Stanley Cup hockey."

I'd love to see another Original Six team win the Cup this year.

I know Detroit is going to win. Fleury isn't looking to good in the first game here, 4-0.
Osgood with the shutout

terrible game.  Pittsburgh sucked (cept Fleury) and Detroit and esp. Osgood played amazing.

So now two games have been played and Red Wings are in the lead with two victories. Pens haven't scored yet, and they have the most "creative" 1st line up in the series??? Detroit is stabile as a rock and Osgood is flying high these days. They are the first team ever who got a shotout two games in a row!!! Will he do it tonight as well??? And Kronwall is killing Penguins out there. Those open ice hits he gives are PAIN!!!

If the Pens can't win at the Igloo it's over.

No way on Earth do they come back from a 3-0 deficit, unless God himself is on their side.

I think that Pens will get a victory at home, but if they win the first match Detroit will be more determend to win the fourth match. Stop the "fooling" around.
If Detroit win the third match, I think they'll play at 80% in the fourth so they can win Stanley Cup in Joe Louis Arena. I'm convinced they win the series 4-1.

Long live Steve Yzerman!!!

Pittsburgh is going to lose both their home games without a doubt.
Red Wings will have it on Saturday.

So Detroit won the fourth game 2-1 in Pittsburgh. Osgood was outstanding, and Lidström finally slapped a goal from blueline. Incredible match (for a Red Wing fan... ) and now is the trophy ready to be won in Hochey town!!! Hudler scored the winning goal btw.

Oh jeez, Pens tied up what would've been the Stanley Cup winning goal with 30 seconds left in regulation, let's see if they make it count...

I think Detroit's going to win, they simply have the better all-around team. Zetterberg+Datsyuk are a better combo then Crosby+Malkin IMHO.

Also, did anybody else notice how awful Malkin's been this series? Malkin's the one player I love on the Penguins (Besides Gonchar) and he seems like he doesn't even want to try.

First the Pistons, now the Redwings, what hope does Detroit have left?!

Edit: well, it's technically not over yet for the Redwings, but they epically failed at epically winning the stanley cup.

Pens had pure luck to win in triple OT. The cup was Detroits last night for sure.

Crosby = Meh
Malkin = Failure. He just plain sucks right now.
Must be some kind of poison in that necklace of his. He sucks on it every game, must have gotten to his head.

pure luck? last time i checked, amazing goal tending was not pure luck.  the 4 minute power play was a little lucky, but lucky didn't put the puck in the net
