hey guys

usually when i get movies to put on my ps3 i simply whack em on my memory stick and then put it on my ps3 that way

but now ive obtained a HD movie thats 720p, so its totally like over 4 gig which is too big for my pen drive

i was wondering if i could do it wireless somehow?  or if any of you had any other ideas ?

thanks!

I think Sony makes an 8 gig usb stick now, or if you have a usb hard drive.

How about an ethernet cable straight from your PC to the PS3?  I don't even know if the PS3 has one actually.

QFE, the USB hard drive part anyway.

An external USB hard drive would be ideal.  I recently picked up a 500GB external HD for $100.  Worth the investment... they come in handy when you're reformatting, transferring large files, and backing up music/movie/document collections.

I have a nice fast local connection, I always stream video from my PC to my PS3. I set it up awhile ago, fucking best thing since sliced bread. Download the film on the computer, then watch it on TV in your room streaming it wirelessly

It's not through bluetooth, it's through wireless internetz. My wireless router is connected to my comp via ethernet, and to everything else via wireless

How do you stream stuff for fuck sake. My PS3 can't detect my gaming PC, it has Vista installed. But it can detect my other PC with XP installed. WTF is wrong?

Yer, I just formatted my PC and reinstalled Vista. Didn't solve the problem.
