Normally I use a headset to listen to all my games etc, but i unplugged it to hook up my speakers and I cant hear anything out of either. Both my speakers wont work and my headset. I hate my volume controls on this computer

Any ideas?

If you plug your headset back in to where it was originally, does it work? Are you sure your speakers work? Have you tried using them with something else?

If the answer to all of those questions is yes, then you probably just need to tell your computer what to do. Have a look round your volume controls and make sure all the right boxes are ticked (especially if it's a 3rd party volume control).

Go to control panel -> sounds

Make sure your audio device is set to your headset.

there is a volume controller on the physical headset that moves the column slider in the volume control
