The photos, which you'll find on the following pages, were introduced Friday at a child custody hearing stemming from last month's raid at a Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS) compund. As seen below, Jeffs is pictured with a girl named Loretta in three photos, which were snapped in January 2005 and recorded the couple's "First Anniversary." Six other images show Jeffs, now 52, in July 2006 photos with a girl named Merrianne, who was 12 at the time. In the photos, Jeffs is passionately kissing both girls.

Starting a cult is a great way to make a lifestyle out of many different crimes. Pedophilia is especially easy to indulge in when it comes to isolated polygamist communities. We see it happen in certain Islamic cults as well.

That would only work if the law is able to ensure they are following the law by periodic inspections. You can be sure Jeffs' crimes would have gone completely unnoticed if a "prankster" hadn't called.

The law worked irregardless of what prompted the suspicion. You can pretend to be sure of your hypothetical if you want . I'd accept inspections. It's borderline infringement but you have to way the potential consequences. Separationist operate under the religious umbrella while the rest of us are out here "making it happen".. paying taxes...etc.
