Well i was on wake island and i was in my J-10 in a dog fight with a raptor and i was on his tale. I shot two stingers and they both hit and now im like sweet one more. So i fire he pulls up and it's a miss, but this is were it gets tricky. Sense im just flowing him and not paying attion were i am he drops flares and pulls up. Now we are at about 400 ALT and he does a rool into a loop (nothing i never seen befor) and some how the flares he dropes 4 seconds ago are still there but they are falling, so he does a dive and i go with him. So now we are going at a speed of 1200 with after burners on, next thing i see we are going back throught his flares that he droped, causeing me to have no such a perfect shot like i would if them flares would not have been there. I could not bleve it i had no clue how he did that.
flares usualy go out on 5-10 seconds knowing unrealistic EA
why waste the missile when you have a perfectly mounted machine gun.
exactly what I was thinking. The machine gun is there for a purpose.
