Padding servers? whats up with this

Lately everytime I log in to BF2 I hit Multiplay and I see a server that I might want to join yet when I click on the link I see scores of 300 and above, Players have 200 kills, but zero deaths.

I dont play padding servers. why would I want to sit there and just revive someone for an hour. thats stupid.

How do they get away with padding servers when EA says NO? Oh wait I answered my OWN question.. EA LOL..

So my question is: is it me or has anyone else noticed this?

AND Yes I have my filters set the same way they have been for 2 years.

Yup, more and more padding server appear, more and more hack server appear....bf2 is getting fuxxed over pretty bad, but oh well, just keep out of those server and your gonna be fine.

I dont think so, the only reason we dont spot all the padder is because of the filter Chuy set us up.

With the help of our community and partners we have located and shut down a number of modified servers which were being used for sending inflated scores to the stats leaderboards. During this crackdown process we have also wiped over 1000 players of their stats to best protect the leaderboard integrity. Some players may have joined these modified servers during the time they were active and found their profiles reset. This reset can not be undone as all resets have been fully investigated by the Support team and proven to be invalid scores.

I bet they've reset 10,000 player stats over the three or four months ... not anyone doing anything wrong, just the innocent accounts that were name hacked.

The actual hackers and padders keep their stats.

the BF2 community stopped caring because EA/DICE left BF2 in the cold once they released BF2142. BF2 got so fucked over so badly i left it completely. The very last time i played was at a Rubber Ducky server where there was nothing but nadespamming and a crapload of medic padders. good people i know that played the game along with me have moved on to better things.

if EA/DICE did not make BF2142 and instead improved BF2, i would still be playing. but its all about making a big bang in profit then release crappy sequels a few months later for those turds.

Ditto. I have a list of about 8-10 servers I play on regularly. I know they're pretty well admin'd (most of the time, obviously) so I play there. Granted it took a while to find decent servers, but it's not impossible

Code Blue Battlefield =CBBF= is a server i used to play alot at. dont know if they are still around. nice friendly server back in the day.
